Cats are notorious for being curious! I don’t think curiosity killed the cat. . .I think being curious and inquiring made it a smarter creature.
What would things be like today if our ancestors weren’t always studying, searching, investigating, and being inquiring of the world in which we live? Think of all the modern marvels we have in our lives that were the result of inquiring minds. . .computers, electricity, flushable toilets, mass-produced clothing, books printed on paper. . .the list is almost endless.
Yes, we’ve created many conveniences in our lives and have improved things greatly. Unfortunately, we have also made a mess of some things. . .pollution, extinctions of species, global warming, space debris, and much more.
The good news is that we are a studious society. We continue to search and investigate to overcome all the negatives that we have created.
I am confident that humans will continue to live their lives inquiringly. . .with the ultimate goal being peace on earth!
