Although the Larch is a conifer, it loses is leaves in the fall, turning a rich golden shade as in today’s photo. Springtime brings even more splendor when young shoots quickly become vibrant green needles.
The Larch is also highly valued for its wood in building residences, yachts, furniture, and much more. Even Harry Potter finds Larch wood highly commendable and worthy in the making of wands!
