To me a flower that thrives and blooms in the cold, cold ground brings promise that warmer weather and abundant sunshine really will bless our cold days in the near future. The hellebore is clarifying that we need not be depressed by our winter months. There is hope!
The hellebore is prized as a flower that blooms in the latter part of winter and very early spring, at least in central Ohio where I live now.
To me a flower that thrives and blooms in the cold, cold ground brings promise that warmer weather and abundant sunshine really will bless our cold days in the near future. The hellebore is clarifying that we need not be depressed by our winter months. There is hope!
